Indoor Floor Plans to Your Phone

New Version of Google Maps Brings Indoor Floor Plans to Your Phone

Google’s Maps team has made fantastic advances in surveying and mapping seemingly every square inch of navigable ground on the planet. But for mobile users, those maps have always stopped just short of indoor spaces — until now.
Google Maps 6.0 for Android with a bold initiative: indoor mapping. Partnering at launch with a selection of businesses and public service structures, the new mobile Maps version allows users to see the entire layout of a mapped building, switch between floor plans if the structure has multiple levels, and locate indoor points of interest like retail stores, bathrooms and ATMs.

Open the latest AutoCAD 2012 drawings

You can view AutoCAD .dwg files with Autodesk® DWG TrueView™ software, a free stand-alone .dwg viewer with DWG TrueConvert™ software included.

Built on the same viewing engine as  AutoCAD ® software, DWG TrueView enables you to view .dwg and DXF™ files, just as you would in  AutoCAD . By installing the free Autodesk® Design Review software, you can then open .dwg files as well as view, print and track changes to Autodesk 2D and 3D design files without the original design software.  AutoCAD -based products enable users to output to Portable Document Format (PDF files) within the application. DWG to PDF conversion has never been easier.

Wacom Intuos4 Tablet

I can highly recommend the Wacom Intuos4 tablet to all you graphics/CAD people out there. I've been using it for quite a few months now and am very happy with its ease of use & high quality build.
I mainly use it for  AutoCAD  LT with the Wacom Mouse. Normally I use a standard mouse on the desk right handed and, to give my right hand a rest, the Wacom mouse with my left hand on the tablet.

Occasionally I use the pen for Photoshop etc. but not often. They all take a little getting used to but once mastered you'll never go back to the old way of working.

A good review of the Wacom Intuos4 can be found HERE at 'Trusted Reviews' - 10/10 they reckon..!!
